Getting in quick to post a whole day on its own!

Quick chore this morning, dropping off a print-out of my village resources info to a couple in isolation on my patch, and came across these gorgeous spring blossoms on the way (it was only about 100 yards away from where I live too!)

Then my next big gardening job - the piles of rubbish and grass formerly known as The Compost Heaps. Before...

...and after. I didn't have time to take the grass off the other pile, but I'm hoping to do that, and clear my veggie patch and add some compost from the "good" pile, tomorrow - because there's now an extra hour of daytime to do it in! *g* Okay, it's definitely a bodge job, cos I've never claimed to be any good with hammers and nails and wire and stuff, but hopefully it can be an actual compost heap rather than just a cool breeding ground for weeds, now. *g*

Ew, no hens - smelly creatures... I like them from a distance, and I like hearing them, but... nah. I'm not even that keen on eggs, so they really would be wasted on me... I like the idea of them though, and I like hearing about your dear old girls... *g* I miss hearing the rooster next door too, I wish he'd start crowing again...
