Someone posted yesterday about pics from Lord Lichfield's Pros photoshoot, and as we'd covered this in PhotoShoot Snap over at [livejournal.com profile] the_safehouse I went over to go and find the various links and include them in a comment. It took me a little bit of time - so I was disappointed to find the post deleted entirely this morning, and with it the work I'd done! Luckily I have the comment in a reply notification, so I'm re-posting my comment here for information, with a few of Lichfield pics and an article about them, for people who haven't seen them before! (The "first two pics" mentioned aren't the ones above, but similar.)

"The first two pics are from a photoshoot by Lord Lichfield. We did a Photoshoot Snap of it via [livejournal.com profile] the_safehouse, and there's some more info in this post and some more info in this post. Apparently LC wears the same shirt again in Killer with a Long Arm."

Another post here too, when we found an entirely new pic that was going to be on display in a National Trust exhibition for Lichfield - and here's the post about our adventure to find it. I really really really miss getting together with Pros-y friends, I've had some lovely times doing that, and this was one of them.

Brilliant! What a lovely treat and so nice to have Cowley there as well. Thanks very much.

I like the lads together best, so don't often include Cowley, but I do like him too, so I should! It's a great photo shoot! *g*

I am thankful for all of your hard work and i did thank you for it. I know who the photographer is and i know all about the photoshoot, the question i asked was why but no-one replied apart from you and therefore it didn't seem appropriate to keep the post going.

So sorry to read this. I saw it at work and hadn't the time or the possibility to answer. I would've needed my computer but was only today able to get hold of it.

I don't quite understand your thinking here, to be honest - your post really wasn't there that long, especially considering how quiet lj is these days. Some people take much longer than overnight to be able to respond to posts, even if they've been able to check lj and see them. I know, for example, that sometimes I do a quick lj-check first thing before work, but usually don't let myself try and comment until I've finished for the day - which might mean that I don't have time until the day after. It was sheer luck that I replied to you so fast!

Replies to my posts come in over days, or even longer (and I'm happy to hear from everyone, even if they've taken weeks or months - and sometimes years! - to reply). That's the beauty of lj over Facebook or other blogs - there's no time limit for commenting or anything. I could go back to the start of your lj, for instance, and have fun browsing through your posts, and commenting on the ones I like, even if you wrote them years ago.

Lj lets you make a post and then just leave it there for people to respond to in their own time!

I know the post you mean. I saw it at work and thought to look through the pictures I have at home, but when I was on my computer there was no post. :-/

So thank you for all the links and the work you did. :-)

It was a real shame it was taken down - it was purely luck that I was able to reply so quickly this time, it usually takes me much longer! It makes me wonder how many other posts are put up and then deleted before I get a chance to see or reply to them. We're all in different time zones!

I've never gathered these links together before, but it's such a cool photoshoot, and people have found out some interesting stuff about it - I thought it was worth a post of its own. *g*

That was interesting! Thanks for gathering it together.
