I have, literally, just commented on someone else's journal about how I love views that have a lot of sky! So I am very taken with both of those pictures :)

We did start a cloudcollecting comm years ago, which has sadly faded from use... nice pics turned up in my lj from that comm!

Great skies! Is that a mast sticking up on the horizon on the left-hand side of the evening photo?

They were fairly fab skies yesterday! There was one point where the grey clouds were sort of in sinuous waves - almost mamatus clouds, but not quite. They didn't show up very well in the pic, so I didn't post them, but they were fab to see.

And yes, that is a mast - can be seen for miles around...
