Better late than never? Well, at least for my terrible sense of completism... *g*

Oh, tis the one with the desk! I love that we're given a little glimpse of the craftsman in his brown coat and workshop, peering out the window (oh wait, he does that cos Bodie beeps the horn as he backs up at incredible speed, to let him know they're arrived!) and I adore that the lads are planning on collecting such a gorgeously made desk on the roof rack of a stationwagon!

And that the lads apparently do favours for Cowley on their days off as well... Hmmn! Although perhaps it fits in with them being friends enough for Cowley to tie Doyle's bow tie for him in Wild Justice (which of course I haven't seen yet... *g*) Doyle - "running all the way!" to Bodie - heee! Oh, and Bodie's indulgent smile as Doyle laughs at his own joke again! *g*

Someone's blocking the drive though, and Bodie's one of those annoying blokes who thinks honking his horn will make people move themselves... Doyle gets out to do something practical about it, but erp - the villains catch sight of his gun and panic... Actually this is another spot of realism (not the bit where our lads just find trouble no matter where they are!) - that it must be very hard to completely conceal the fact that you're carrying a gun, even in a shoulder holster!

Love that Doyle says "Shit!" when the two lads pull a gun on him! As you would of course, but it's so natural, and he obviously got away with it on the telly! Plus, you imagine that like most red-blooded Brits the lads can swear up a storm, but of course we don't get to hear it very often, so yeay for canon! *g*

Credits - wheee!

Oh, and the car chase with desk on top... Bodie's looking very trim actually, his face nice and slim... or is it just his haircut and sideburns?! Surely not... (I'm one of the apparently few people who likes slim-and-trim Bodie the best!) Doyle's not looking bad either... *g* Gorgeous hair, and it's doing its auburn thing this ep in the sunshine...

Hee - "We just lost our drawers... "don't get excited love, not you!" More hee for Doyle! Not rude exactly, and perhaps understandable in the mad rush, but you'd still want to smack him if you were the one on the other end of the RT!

Love that the lads have already anticipated most of what Cowley wants done when he arrives on the scene - competent-lads are one of my favourites... though I also adore bumbling lads of course... *g* Hmmn - such as the way Bodie hits that pavement as they come into the close - I wonder they've not got permanent whiplash, sometimes...

Ah, Doyle's confession that he might have let them see his gun - Bodie gives him a little look when he says it... Oh, this is another ep where they're together... *g*

And they did and they didn't pick up Cowley's desk... *vbg*

Hee - Bodie grinning away as they're in the car, and the double act continues... This is a lousy cap, btw - I do know! Except that Bodie's hand is right on Doyle's arm there... *g*

Little dig at American-style gated communities - forecast it though for some places over here, didn't they...

Hee for Doyle's expression as the guard steps onto the car sill for security - love Doyle's little look at his crotch, and Bodie's very straight-faced retort - not keen on Doyle noticing things like that, perhaps... *g*

And Doyle being geeky - Wonder if he takes vitamins? and Bodie being far more enlightened - or something similar... *g*

Love the reluctance of Guthrie to put the lads above his other work - "these gentlemen first..." *g* Bodie won't let him get away with that though - ever so cynical of it all - oh, and I adore his little grin and shake of head too - just like he did to the tramp in ????? Such a tease... *g*

Oh, and the gorgeousness of the lads when Bodie stands too close to Doyle by the desk, and refuses to move out of the way, so Doyle sort of slides up his body... *g*

Back to the hostages - lads still in the stationwagen, now there's some continuity! Doyle ever so respectful to Mr Cowley... the lads look at each other when the bad guys suggest something that sounds a bit bizarre - they're giving up, but move everyone away? Hmmm... the lads know there's something not right...

Doyle's dramatic gestures again when they can't catch the villains... And this pic is just cos it's Bodie looking at Doyle again! Which of course they do, cos they work together, and their mates, but... I just like it, you know? *g*

Off to track down to two original ones, who're students - Doyle's wearing tight trousers again, despite his jacket and shirt... oh wait, but so's Bodie actually - and there's touching! More brushing together as they go to search the room... *g*

This is where we get also Bodie's "rule of thumb - too smart, too dumb", and Doyle all gentle agreement... and then back in the car with Cowley... oh, they just are looking good in this one... I mean, I know that's their default gorgeousness, but like with anyone, some days are better than others... *g*

Ah, Lucas and McCabe! And hee - Cowley teasing B/D via L/M - but McCabe is more than up to teasing Cowley back (even though he did put out his fag very quickly when Cowley coughed pointedly at him) and I love that our lads giggle! Cowley looks as if he expects no less... *g*

And then Doyle makes a joke about desks going spare in Guthrie's home, and Bodie smiles at that *sighs* *loves our lads*

Hah - Cowley all suspicious-toned of Bodie's request to stop the tape they're watching - "What is it?" And then Bodie cuts right across Cowley's speculation... Hmmn!

The school sports day, with the ever-so-self-contained young lady! "I know you wear scruffy clothes these days" - hee! "No thanks, I used to watch Policewoman - too fraught!"

Chasing up the anomaly... Hee - and look at the lads posing on the doorstep!

Doyle has a press pass in his pocket... along with his lockpicks, perhaps? What other equipment do they routinely carry?!

Bodie right on the ball recognising the car parked near Copeland's house... Doyle's hair standing on end in the wind as he roars into the RT!

And the lads are split up... not fair!

Ah, the plucky Sandy Copeland - I like her actually, very ingenious! Another set of villains - she looks like a hard version of the Bisto gravy mum, and he looks as if he'd be quite jolly around a pint...

Bodie in the twilight bushes... clearly in charge of the op, all competent and efficient again...

Oh, lovely shot pulling out from the silent, bowed parents... the camera work in Pros is just fab, isn't it?

Ah, morning - and the milko! Bodie looking - and sounding - adorably sleepy...

And then the lovely sneaky run up to the front step - don't you just wish you were looking out your front window in the morning and saw Bodie doing that?! *g*

Doyle driving a horsebox - can't help but feel sorry for the CI5 men (that I don't yet know are) in the back! Hee - and being chatted up by Dorinda Forbes - "...it is a sticky old day..." - hee! Oh, and Doyle in rubber boots - *happy sigh*... these trousers not quite as tight as yesterday's, mind...

Hee - Bodie in the boot!

Oh, and some fab running from Bodie, even fabber shooting from Doyle...

...and... awww - Doyle's look at Bodie - "Just think, in a few years time she'll be coming home with someone like him"! *g*

I quite like Acorn Syndrome - not a super-fave, but one of those what's-not-to-like eps... the lads get to spend most of it together, manage some lovely double act, and they're looking good. Yeah, not bad at all! *vbg*

And yeay - I'm caught up again! Now I can go read all the Acorn Syndrome posts! Wonder what's up for this Sunday... *g*
