Oh it's Sunday, and it's nine o'clock, and it's Pros... D'you ever feel like just blubbing with the lovely relief of it all? This is my obligation for the next hour, right here... *g*

I like Slush Fund. Who can't like this ep? I think... I mean... Don't I? Although I do always confuse it slightly with the idea of Man Without a Past (Doyle all tied up) and Ojuka (Bodie all protective)...

Ah - and here we go, with an excuse to show lots of young girls playing around in a swimming pool... D'you think they use families like this to show what horrid people the baddies are, that they look just like anyone else on the outside, all caring and normal, but on the inside...

Oh, and here are our lads...running and jumping and punching and... and driving cars through dark tunnels... yeay the credits!

Yeay aeroplanes too! Except that there's the nasty Piet van Neikerk... been a mercenary in Angola - hmmn, who else do we know..? And there's our lads looking all sinister and... well, pleasant actually is Doyle's face!

Oh that's the plane the lads are doing Mexican stand-off on, in those pictures... Bodie's roll is way better than van Neikerk's... and Bodie comes all untucked too... *g*

And there's our Doyle, all over-coated and van Niekerk like... Oh, and in the hotel, all smooth... he's looking rather lovely actually.... Heeee sarky hotel clerk - "Let the good word get around, eh?"!

The lads are separate though, from now on... van Niekerk blowing a kiss to Cowley...

Is it Doyle's hair? It's looking rather red today, actually - all those lovely browns he's wearing... and the trousers... *g*

And Bodie all leaning on everything in the cellar... Hmmn - Bodie "Never call a spade a spade, call him a bloody kaffir"... Not quite sure what Bodie's point is there though... Steve Biko gets a mention... not very sympathetically on Bodie's part...

Doyle reading... Nice to see him reading... He does not look after his books though!

Doyle stretching is never bad...

Back to the sports jacket to go down to the lobby - and a v-neck and shirt underneath this time! I like that look on him actually, he looks... softer like that...

Bodie's looking pretty good too... ah, naked van Niekerk taunting our lad... and Bodie reacting to it, in fact giving him an excuse to do it....

And here's a completely gratuitous pic of Bodie lookin pretty... *g*

Doyle doing a very dubious jigsaw puzzle indeed...

Love his *headphone* moment too - bit of an MS thing that, I rather think... *g*

Lol - Cowley all aggravated about "Accoustics or Phonetics" - the "high falutin'" ones... *g* And teasing Bodie about Eton and Trinity, Bodie being Neanderthal... He's very relaxed though actually, isn't he, our Bodie? Not quite into the actual job as such... Teasing Cowley, not listening properly - love that he says a quiet little "Sorry!" in there! See, Cowley's kept them apart so long that Bodie's had to resort to trying to tease the Cow instead...

And here's the "kookie girl"... I never quite get why she brings up killing someone - she'd already got his attention, so... and then Doyle's so distracted by her that he misses an envelope under his door again...

A-ha! Doyle on stake out in the car... he's not much into the job here either! Just... really not into it! Heee - the kid is brilliant though - Doyle's "Push off!" and the kids response! And I love that he's amused by it too... And little touches, like picking at the steering wheel!

And then he's all sort of squirmy-fair about Linda Bellingham - "she's pleasant... nice..."... Bodie on stakeout in the comfort of a room with big binoculars! *g*... Hee - "History of the Halifax Bomber" - you'd be surprised who's interested in that sort of thing, Cowley! (*eyes WWII fic*)... Ha - Cowley teasing Bodie though - "Maybe she doesn't love you anymore..."

And our Bodie "doing a bit of the old B&E"... *g* Sounds like he's familiar with the technique... *g* Spitfire! *g* Bodie all thoughtful... wondering about the car... panic! Don't panic! Love his scouse burglar who's so scary he doesn't even run away! *g* And a duplicating shop! Heeee! And hee - "Sorry..." *g* And - heee - "Ta, thanks, you're a brick!" Just... how gorgeous is that scene?!

Oh dear, and gormless young CI5 agent... actually, very pretty CI5 agent, rather wish he'd not had his neck broken... Oh he didn't... though the wallop with the belt won't have helped...

And hee - a chirpy little whistle from Doyle - he's all come back to life now he's going to see Bodie! Is that Pam Stevenson again? "Stiffen up your chewing gum" - what?! But they do stand beautifully close at the binocs... *g*

And hee - Cowley's at another funeral... CI5 Specials on "off grey"! And Doyle's off again... he just popped in to see his Bodie, bring him a present... aww... And Bodie's got to tell him about the B&E too - heee! And canon Doyle "in'ee"... *g*

Oh my - who is that Cowley's talking to? Looks like a very scary Ken doll somehow - all orange and shiny and with hair that doesn't move... What is that moment about the bloke in Cowley's club and the steak and kidney pudding?!

Uh-oh, and there's baddie van Niekerk out and about... Doyle's wearing those good trousers...

Oh, and Bodie's all angry that Doyle's in trouble... He's a bit over the top, mind... Bless 'im...

Oh, Doyle, don't go into the garage! Noooooo! There's sneaky looking lads, and van Niekerk and just everyone... Oh, too late.... Doyle's being carried with a hand... just there... And into the boot with him - ack!

And here's Iggy and thingie... does anyone remember that series? Back in the eighties, "One Summer" I think it was called, about a couple of young lads from Liverpool who run away to the one place they'd ever felt safe - away in Wales, on a school camp...

The nosy kookie girl being very nosy... and... well, it doesn't go well for her...

Oh, and Bodie's straight up to the hotel room...I like that soft suede jacket of his too...Into the bathroom... finds the body...

Oxo mum is tidying up, ready to do the hoovering...

Oh, Iggy and Thingie again... it's the harmonica that does it, there should be Madness music playing though... It wakes Doyle up though... oh, and throws him out thank goodness, cos... oh, the lads... Doyle's forever watching cars burn, it seems...

My gawd - *pause to turn the volume up and check the window's shut* - sounds like someone's literally throwing buckets of water at my window!

Awwww - Doyle all curled up and sleepy in the early morning - and Bodie all pleased to see him, just... awwww.. *g* Heeee - Bodie's so gleeful, and Doyle's all grumpy and Bodie's just... so happy to be teasing him! *vbg* And Doyle actually all indulgent lookin about the gun...

Oh, the lads and that gorgeous staircase... Much screaming from women by lifts... the lads all walkin quickly... van Niekerk away... Love them being all surreptitious around the print works... Bodie actually calls for him to "Freeze" before he fires...

And that's it... Bodie still trying to be cheery and getting it completely wrong with the headband... Oh, and Doyle's all hurt about it, but Bodie can tell and... and... "Are you alright?" asks, all quiet, and Doyle doesn't just walk off or reject him, he says "Let's go"... *sighs*

Weird one actually this - the other way around to some that I can think of - I feel that I should like this one more than I do! Or don't like it more than I think I don't. Or something... It's got some great bits in, I think, some fab lines, and the lads are a joy together, but... it's another one where they're not together nearly enough... I still like it - van Niekerk is a good baddie - but... *sighs*

Can we turn back time for an hour and do it again, maybe? Or I guess I could just screencap for an hour, but I have to be in bed by eleven, so... *g*

And noooooo - I ran out of time - in fact I'm already past my bedtime, waaah! Up early again for school tomorrow, and since it was nearly three when I got to bed from msn msgr last night... and before eight when five-year-old started "singing" loudly outside my door... *headdesk* Maybe I'll get to finish off tomorrow... Sometime in between school and new tutoring and old tutoring and... *yawns and whinges*

So - Slush Fund! What d'you all think?!
