Virtual Office Tuesday 21st July

Not been out on the hacktrack yet - I'll start work first today - so maybe some lads at work, for motivation... They're investigating something on a film set, where one of the cast is the daughter of a politician and has been threatened, but is adamant that she's not going to give up her relatively minor part. The lads have to protect her and find out what's up... Well, maybe one day I'll write it properly. *g*

It's Only a Beautiful Picture - that's another ep I like, even though the lads aren't together as much as I'd prefer. Wandering the London streets together though, and then they're out of ordinary context again - off undercover, in the deepest countryside, with each other the only contact... a sugar-beet salesman and a rebellious London cop. Now there's an AU... *g* Maybe I'll watch the ep tonight - if I get on and...

...work. I didn't finish until about half-ten last night, because I broke off in the middle for a few hours, and then made one of my Riverford recipes (only nice if you like mushrooms, which I don't much), and... well, it turns out I'm still rubbish with Job 1. It's weird - I had to sit in one place for Job 2 as well - maybe it's more that Job 2 involves contact with other people, but Job 1 is just plonked here on my lonesome, with no one to distract/interest me... But I shall try again today - and this time do the longer document first.

Littering my flist with lads - It's Only A Beautiful Picture...

I finished work early! Well, on time. Well, around 7pm. Early! I went for a walk around the backtrack - hah, lads on my mind... *g* - hacktrack, and chatted with landlady, and actually caught up with lj replies a bit, and now - now I've made myself a Crane and Day (orange liqueur, Prosecco and passionfruit juice - I should have rimmed the glass with lime juice and sugar, but... I'm sweet enough. *g*) and now - now I really do fancy a Pros ep, and I fancy the lads sitting around in the sunshine. And I liked snailbones comment the other day about our lads littering up the place - I reckon we need more of that, so here they are - some favourite moments from It's Only a Beautiful Picture... *g*

We start off with the lads in a gallery. Why are the lads at the gallery?

Although it's quite fun to see them wandering around the art, not quite fitting in for all Doyle's artistic background... *g* He reckons he "should have been artistic"... I reckon he is artistic, and has had too much free champagne, and is looking forward to some loose living with Bodie later that night. Wot? It's a theory... *g* I mean, these things are always evening dos, and they've got to go home... to someone's home... *vbg*

The lads don't know what's going on either, work-wise - they've been sent to the gallery and a steelworks. I like slightly sulky lads... At least Doyle has a toy to play with (apart from Bodie). *g*
