Hmmn, well I suppose I would have to say that Martin Shaw is my favourite cast member, although I don't really think of it like that! I liked him when I was a wee teenage thing in Australia, and was completely chuffed to find out that he played my favourite Macbeth character when we were shown the film in English - Banquo in Polanski's Macbeth, of course! - but I lost sight of him for years and years after that. Which of course annoys me now, cos all those years I was here and both he and LC were on stage and around and doing things - just wasted!
But I do like alot of MS's other work, and I do adore

He's not playing the moral-stand-up characters that he seems to get lumbered with these days, he's playing a fabulously interesting character who in many ways is not the hero of the piece! Plus there's a circus, and I'd bet at least 50p that this film had just a little bit to do with Harlequin Airs and other gorgeous circus-y Prosfic...
He was also a bit fab in (though far too briefly) Intrigue where he plays a top Russian agent...

And then he was brilliant in Operation Daybreak...

...and of course he was great in Rhodes and Last Place on Earth, and...
Well, he just is pretty good... *g*
Meme Questions Here if anyone else would like to play!
