...a meme that's supposed to be doable because everyone has more than one fandom, right? Except... I don't. Just Pros. *hugs Pros* I had a lovely holiday with Torchwood, but I've certainly never been in the fandom. So I thought it might be interesting to try this anyway... *g*

01. The first character I fell in love with: Doyle - when I was first watching as a young, innocent teenager... *g*

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Bodie (he grew on me... *g*)

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Bodie. Okay, not true! But much as I love him, almost everyone else seems to luuuuuuuurve him, and I just want him to love Doyle. In any way he fancies. *g*

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Benny! I think he's fab, and no one else seems to pay him the slightest attention!

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Erm... none of them, I don't think... I still love all the same ones I've loved - but more. *g*

06. The character I would shag anytime: See... either of the lads, obviously. Both of the lads? And then they could also... together... and... see, it'd be research... *g*

07. The character I'd want to be like: Hmmn! See, we don't really know enough about other characters for this, and would I want to be like either of the lads? Bits of both of them... I like that Doyle's thinky, and I like that Bodie's chilled out... Erm... I'd say Susan perhaps, except I never want to choose those glasses... She's pretty good though... *g*

08. The character I'd slap: Both of the lads, on occasion... *g* Any female agent who simpers...

09. A pairing that I love: Do you need to ask?

10. A pairing that I hate: Cowley/anyone

11. Favorite character: B/D *g*

12. My five favorite characters: Bodie, Doyle, Benny, Jax... erm... Marge Harper?

13. My five least favorite characters: Murphy, erm... I can't think of any I dislike, except for the ones that I'm meant to dislike... but then I like them for being dislikable characters... I don't think that's what the meme's really after, mind, do you? *g*

14. Which character I am most like: Erm... um... Oh gawd, no idea. You tell me. *g*

15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I don't think I have any, I think I'm too noisy... *g*

By the end, I couldn't see it in any way but applying to one fandom. 'cos if you brought in lots of fandoms, not everyone would be familiar with all the characters, unless all your f'list were in identical fandoms.

Don't know why you think the people don't like Benny - I do! Having Murphy as an unfavourite (? sorry, in haste here) seems more controversial.

Hee - I forgot to say that I nicked it from jojosimco, who said that it was supposed to be limited to three fandoms but she used all hers. And it's true that I didn't know who anyone except B/D were, but I suspect most of the rest of her flist did... *g* I think it sort of presupposed a larger pool of well-known characters to draw answers from than we have in Pros, though...

And yeay for liking Benny! But honestly, he hardly ever comes up in fic, and people hardly ever mention him when we're talking about other characters. Except me - I do! *g* But yeay, two of us, then!

And yeah - everyone luuuuurves Bodie and lives Murphy alot too... I just don't get the appeal of Murphy - I mean he's pretty and all, but kind of bland... Benny has some character about him - some spirit! He doesn't just stand there impassively when Bodie and Doyle are peeved with him for losing thingie in The Rack - he says "Sorry", but when they walk off in disgust he gets all sarcastic and shouts after them "I'm very sorry!" *g* He's got spark. *vbg*

Hee - you don't need to apologise for luuuuurving Bodie! I'm just always amused that while it seems as if Doyle was once the one people seemed to go for, now it seems to be overwhemingly Bodie! I just didn't get Bodie when it was on originally, or even for a while when I started re-watching it, but I think I started to appreciate him more when I realised he was in lurve with Doyle, and he's definitely grown on me... *g*

And yeay Benny!

I feel so contrary - I quite like Kate Ross too! She's just doing a hard job in a world where she's not made to feel very welcome... And she was right about Bodie! She saved him, really!

It's that early exchange she has with Doyle that really irritates me... she's so condescending and rude to him, I want to smack her... or better still, for him to smack her! He doesn't seem too bothered by it, though!

Regarding #3 it is true that I've run into more Bodie-lovers-who-dislike-Doyle than Doyle-lovers-who-dislike Bodie, which tends to make me a little leery of Bodie-lovers. See, I love the lads equally. Together. It's their relationship that fascinates me.

Yeah, I've seen Benny pop up occasionally but nowhere near as much as other agents seem to - Anson, or even Turner, who I think we barely glimpse... I just like him, I'd've liked to see him more often - as Marge might have said - he's got something... *g*

Lol - no, I don't actively dislike him as such, as I mentioned above, but I see nothing to really like about him either - he just seems incredibly, incredibly bland to me - nothing like the spark of Benny, or the likable bonhomie of Jax, or... oh, Matthesson and King, or Thingie and McCabe, or Stuart! There are just so many more other-agents with so much more character - it seems odd to me that everyone seems to go ga-ga for Murphy! And from all of that I think he's totally overused in fanfic! *g*
