...and it apparently does exist.

It's the particularly appropriate advertising that... um... :s

Surely this has got to be a website scam... Ha - google is full of results that begin with a line similar to Is this website for real?!!?! Heee - and when you add QI to the search, you get results which begin with Apparently they have a live webcam - oh the irony...

*g*

Oh, and hee - QI chat came up with the website in 2006!

That was horrid, I'm not even going to the website.

I don't think I ever quite got QI before, but the episode that started with 'gravity' recently was absolutely brilliant. And tonight gargoyles versus grotesques was right up our street, so will make more of an effort to watch from now on.

Oh no, it just made me giggle. People - eh? I mean, is it any worse or weirder than thinking we're all going to sit around on clouds with angels, or showing people yer bunions when you're 80, or not bothering to wash because you live in a cabin, or... oh, or watching those reality-tv operation/deformities/weirdness shows, or... well, anything, really? I guess it's just another way of thinking about life/death... Don't think I'd want to watch, but I wouldn't want to watch The X-Factor, or American Idol either...

I've always adored QI - my favourite one is the one with the French shepherds on stilts, I can't find it on YouTube any more, and they're not releasing the DVDs fast enough - waaah!

And hey - welcome home! *vbg*

... slightly disturbing. No harm in it if the relatives don't mind - though I find it surprising that relatives might not mind! - but I don't think it would be my favourite viewing! Cremation, I think ..... donate any bits anyone wants, and cremate the rest.

And yes, the inappropriate advertising is really inappropriate!

Isn't it inappropriate?! I mean, I can't think of anything more inappropriate!

I always preferred the idea of burial over cremation I must say - returning to the earth and all that, you know? Although was it Eugene Shoemaker, who I think has the funeral I would love??
"And, when he shall die
Take him and cut him out in little stars
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun."

Now there's a life's work...

It's such a beautiful quotation. Wonder what the bard would have made of Stop all the clocks. How death does get some of the best poetry ...

LOL - you're braver than me - I was too chicken to even Google it for fear it really does exist. Ewwww!

Oh, I'm definitely the cat... except for that time when I was a kid when I woke in the middle of the night (in rural Australia, in the middle of nowhere) and heard babies crying. Two of them. In the lounge room, which was right beside my bedroom. Just crying, and crying, and I could picture them in their cribs, and... I tucked my head under the bedclothes and I did not go to look.

Except, my little sister did, and of course it was two cats.

But apart from then, I'll always go look...

Just... not at ghost-y babies. That's just... no.
