3rd December
The snow didn’t last of course, because nothing did, not in their grime-caked London. Doyle woke to rain, and their day descended into petty violence and the whine of frightened men. By the end of it, seven on the dot, Bodie had even dragged him to HQ to get their report done, because he - just – didn’t – care.
“In here,” he urged, holding Doyle’s shoulders firmly and steering him through a door. “I’ll even make you a cuppa.”
And then Bodie stood him in front of the calendar, left his hands where they were, and refused to move until Doyle smiled.

Advent adventure!
Date: Friday, 3 December 2010 10:08 am (UTC)And the story means this is one advent calendar you really want to follow every day!
You're going to save it all together at the end, right?

Date: Friday, 3 December 2010 05:34 pm (UTC)It's even funnier when you realize that this is part of an actual photo of Gordon Jackson! But it looks like something Bodie would dream up. (I just had to dust off this icon that I made ages ago.)

Date: Saturday, 4 December 2010 05:32 pm (UTC)I can't recall when I first made it but it kind of fell flat because I don't think many people got my (often too obscure) humor. I was thinking of D's line in Wild Justice.
