The snow didn’t last of course, because nothing did, not in their grime-caked London. Doyle woke to rain, and their day descended into petty violence and the whine of frightened men. By the end of it, seven on the dot, Bodie had even dragged him to HQ to get their report done, because he - just – didn’t – care.

“In here,” he urged, holding Doyle’s shoulders firmly and steering him through a door. “I’ll even make you a cuppa.”

And then Bodie stood him in front of the calendar, left his hands where they were, and refused to move until Doyle smiled.

It's even funnier when you realize that this is part of an actual photo of Gordon Jackson! But it looks like something Bodie would dream up. (I just had to dust off this icon that I made ages ago.)

I "remastered" it from the vid on youtube and now the icon in my post above has reverted to my default one. Argh! So I'm posting this to make it visible. I had forgotten it was from Sesame Street, too!

I can't recall when I first made it but it kind of fell flat because I don't think many people got my (often too obscure) humor. I was thinking of D's line in Wild Justice.
