And awaaaaay!

Today is the first day of my proper Christmas holiday, and I am just about to get in wee Temeraire and head across and down to the South West - Devon for Christmas again, wheeeee! Tem has never come with me on such a long adventure - the furthest she's been is London - so cross fingers that she's up for it. Cross fingers too that the roads are clear and good and I'll have time to stop at Stonehenge hopefully-still-in-the-snow on the way!

This is how my world looked last night, full of wrapping, and de-enveloping, and laundry and the moon all huge and pale copper as she rose - and also another epic fudge-making bout, which is improving, and maybe next time will turn out just the way my mum (and me, at the time!) used to make it... It's still pretty tasty, though... *g*

Aaand... now I'm just putting off lugging all my stuff down to the car. *g* Happy Thursday, and hopefully the next time I'm around it's from the Devon seaside... or at least a cosy house nearby. *g*

Yay for Christmas with friends! I can highly recommend it. *g* And, oooh, Devon! One day I'm going to go in that direction.

I hope the journey is hassle free, and that you have a lovely time!

Oh, and I must have missed the first fudge-making bout...oh, I do miss fudge! My mother and I used to make it as well, but it has been years now. Of course, now I'm craving it. *g*
