I think I should either post more or less, not currently sure which, but you can't be too fed up when you look out the window and realise that the sky is going to do spectacular things again...

At first I just thought that there was suddenly a lovely golden light, after the gorgeously deep grey and blustery day we'd had, and then I realised that there was a sun column shining through...

So I had to go and take a closer look, and the sky was a wave of sunset...

And the sunshine was stretching up and up and up in a final burst for the day...

Getting brighter and brighter until at last the column blurred and it started to fade...

And none of these pictures actually begin to approach how gorgeous it really was...

And just for fun, the apocalype scenario, because I wondered how it might look if I played with the colours a bit... *g*

Dentist and work tomorrow, blargh... Bet you any money she wants to steal my tooth away... Didn't go to work today after all, cos I fell asleep again in the middle of the day - I must not do that tomorrow, cos how embarrassing would that be... Not sure if it was cos I'm still poorly or cos of the general teejusness of life... Still, sunsets...

Wow - gorgeous gorgeous pictures, thank you!

So sorry you're still grotty, though I'm not surprised. I hope the dentist can sort you out tomorrow - being in pain like that is utterly miserable. Fingers crossed the tooth will be okay - it's probably more infection than anything, and dentists hate to hoick one out unless they absolutely have to... just feel better soon.

Ha, grotty is an excellent word and I've not been using it half as much as I really should - I must work on that... *g* I'm not convinced about my dentist though, she's had her beady eye on the tooth next to the one that hurts for ages now...

Still, sunsets... *g*

You had sun! That's more than we got down south today - just grey, wet, wind & more grey. Very depressing.
Hope you feel better soon :)

Only for the length of time it took to set, honestly! I was watching telly when I spotted a strange golden glow at the window, looked out and there it was - or wasn't really, I think it'd already pretty much set, and this was just the remaining sun pillar... I've been loving the grey and blustery weather of today, to be honest - that's what we had too, grey, wet, wind and more grey. It made me realise that I've been missing blustery weather, and wonder if maybe I should move further north instead... *g*

Also - hello, stranger! Nice to see you... *g*

The pics don't even begin to do the real thing justice, either - that white streak of sky on the horizon was actually a gorgeous turquoise blue... *g*

I completely believe it. Van Gogh had it right when it came to colour and skies.

Oh, now there was a man who knew skies... *g*

How're you doing, in your new world?

Didn't he just. Wondrous skies.

Not bad, I think. This week is the first time since the entire debacle started that I have felt 'normal'. Whether this will last, of course, is another matter entirely. *g* What about you? (apart from the dentist which I am studiously avoiding even thinking about since they give me bad dreams)

I'm trying to studiously avoid thinking about it too... my bright spark of hope is that nothing can be done till I've finished the antibiotics... *g*

Apart from that... getting desperate to find another job somewhere (but what?) and live a bit more like a grown-up again, but it'll have to wait until after the whole Australia shindig, which realistically means until after Christmas probably... and I still get stuck on what? So, same old same old... *headdesk*

Thank you - I'm a terribly lazy photographer really, I tend to seek out what's gorgeous to begin with... *g* And yeay for not suffering, I like the idea of that!

Gorgeous! those clouds! I like the flecks of gold in no. 4.
When I went out at 9 to collect Jasper from town, there was brilliant moonlight from a half-moon, when it came out from the clouds. Very blustery and wet here today, not dull and boring, but v. autumnal.

eep, if dentist extracts your tooth, you'll be off food as well as drink for a day or two. But hopefully it will make your mouth better sooner.

Oh, I saw the half-moon last night too, through a gap in my curtains and then through a very blustery open window when I looked properly... *g* Sounds like you've had the same weather we had - I love it! *g*

And eep indeed - I live in hope that because I've not finished the meds, she can't do anything with it today... *g*

You have the most spectacular sunsets. These photos are awesome and I love what you've done with the last one.

The end of the World is nigh. *g*

It was a fairly phenomenal sunset - the pictures don't really do it justice at all. The streak of white by the horizon was actually a turquoise blue, for instance... *g*
