Today's sunrise, courtesy of that nice man at the BBC who actually said it was likely to be very pretty this morning... *g* The moments I saw were definitely pretty, though I think yesterday's sunrise had the edge as far as colour went...

I got my car back yesterday, and she now seems to be going again as if there was no tomorrow (which I hope is not what I have to worry about when the MOT comes around!). Today's adventuresome lark is another trip to the dentist, although I'm not entirely sure that what she's going to fix did have anything to do with recent face-ache, which is mostly better now, phew... But she might as well fix it anyway, right? *sighs*

On the bright side, it means I finish work early, and I'm also not tutoring tonight, so there's potential for oooh, time off! If, that is, I can manage to proofread my way out the other side of this rather dense document... It should be quite interesting, but she's killing it quite well... *sighs*

Aaaaaaand... nope, I think that's me, procrastination over - dense document, here I come... *sighs more*

Oh dear - on re-reading this, I really don't have anything to complain about, do I? *g*

Wow - another gorgeous sunrise. I don't get those... I may have to write a stiff letter of complaint to the council *g* Though I have got the most amazingly dark night skies now. I couldn't figure out why for a few days, but then I twigged that the council have replaced a load of the older orange street lights in the town I'm closest to - and even though I'm not that close, it's made a huge difference. Yay! Dorset is getting darker, and I couldn't be happier! Astronomers WIN!

Cambs is pretty good for sunrises and sunsets - and for alot of the sky in the middle... *g* Sometimes it seems to be good for the dark night stuff too... which reminds me, I keep missing Brian Cox's programme! And in those dots I actually was watching it via iPlayer, and the bugger just stopped halfway and told me that we don't have enough bandwidth to finish watching it - what?! Well... anyway... Yeay for new and improved orange streetlights and for the world getting darker! *g*

Another good day over here in sunny Amsterdam, lucky me, but I'm glad you are having a better day than yesterday. Yay for cars running well, and sunrises and other good stuff!

Gorgeous sunrise. We missed it - on the motorway to babysit for daughter going to hospital appointment - and I noticed it getting light but not any colour. So maybe Manchester missed it.

Hope your tooth/face ache is a thing of the past.

My car has decided that when it stops it won't start again for half an hour. It isn't the battery which is fully charged and it isn't the alternator which is clearly fine if the battery is fully charged. Jamie (3 and three quarters) said it must be the batteries and if not, maybe the car had driven through poo. The nuisance value of not being able to just nip into a shop, garage, etc. has to be experienced to be believed. We have to go everywhere together so that someone can keep the engine running. Hence being late on the beta thing.

Merely not having anything to grumble about doesn't make it easier to find things that are wonderful.
