On the 24th of December...

...I made fudge! And
foxcat74 helped me beat and beat and beat it, but it still wasn't beaten for long enough, cos it's soft rather than good and hard and crumbly - rats! Ah well - it'll still taste like fudge...

We also made creamy leek croustade for Christmas Eve dinner, and sang carols with the Foxcat family, and opened presents, because Christmas Eve is when you open presents in Germany, so... And I now have a fab wanderlust-y desk calendar, a fab haunted London Underground book to go and explore with, and Miranda's book to giggle over - so yeay! (I also have presents on my way from Australia, but they hadn't made it by the time I left, so I'm going to have loads of separate Christmases this year... (Have just finished chatting with the Aussie Christmas via Skype - everyone is happy, and my nephew is still adorable, so yeay for that too).
And tomorrow is still Christmas - no - it's past midnight - today! Happy Christmas, everyone! - and there will be Christmas dinner (home-made nut roast), and the traditional English after-Christmas-dinner walk... and there will be a beach, cos that's where we are. *g*
Hope you're all having good days so far... I'm also hoping for time to read, and write some more (I've not forgotten the stories I must write for
discoveredinalj promises, or finishing my NaNoWriMo fic), and catch up on all the commenting and replying... and I have more fandom cards to post too... *g* But for now I'm shusshing and going to bed, cos it's late, though there are many creatures stirring - particularly the rats and mice of the Foxcat household... *g*
