Well, there's an lj maintenance post just up above now, so I'm guessing it had something to do with their new code going live somehow... or else it's a google chrome thing entirely! Chrome keeps telling me it wants to translate pages from the Russian. When they're in English. Oh, or sometimes from the French - when they're already in English. It's really not very sure what English is, I think... throw in a le and it gets all confused... *g* But lj is back to playing nicely in Chrome again, so yeay for that! *g*

hmmm, sounds like my IE Google Toolbar problem - it's insisting everything on LJ is in Spanish and wanting to translate it for me. Wonder if it's something to do with Google/LJ. Ah well, as long as you can post in comfort, that's all that matters *beams*

And ha - I don't have the google translate thing come up in IE, I don't think, only in google! And I don't use google toolbar... So... but... oh, who knows?! Maybe sleep will help... *sighs sleepily and hugs lj for being properly back*

That is one of my very favorite Doyle poses (er..pictures...) Thanks for posting it! And I hope I haven't jinxed myself by reading about your lj and Chrome issues - I've been using that combo for a while now with no problems so far (knocks on wooden desk! *g*)

I've used lj on Chrome for years now, and it's been fine - it's just lately there've been some glitches with Chrome, especially with not knowing what language a page is in and offering to translate it! So I'm still not sure which was buggy, Chrome or lj, though it might have been lj this time if they were actually fixing something on the update post page (which would explain why I couldn't update post... *g* So yeah - touch wood! (Though I quite like Opera, actually, and shall probably use that more...)

Maybe we should institute a "Tuesday Treat" day, or the like... in fact if five people picked a day each, we'd have a Pros-y treat every day of the week - how gorgeous would that be? Can't see getting five people to do it, sadly... :( But maybe I'm just greedy for treats too... *g*
