I thought there was going to be no photo today, cos I'm unexpectedly wireless-less in my Glastonbury B&B, and so I'm on my mobile, but for some reason lj wouldn't upload directly to a post, I had to go halfway around the moon to get to the sun... But I made it! Which has been a bit of a theme of the day really... But first the pic - my bed for tonight! Better pics tomorrow I hope when I suss out a connection...
IMAG2072

So - today was going to be Stonehenge and Woodhenge and general Salisbury Plain-ness - until I found out that Stonehenge is now all pre-booked advance admissions only, and there was nothing left to book. Waaaaah - they've stolen my Stonehenge!

So when the girl whose bike had broken down on her way cycling to a course in Avoncliffe hadn't been able to work out how to get there, I said I'd give her a lift. Well, why not? So then it turned out that her course was about working with crystals, and she said "There are places left if you want to come" I thought well... And then I thought well! Cos how often do you go on a random crystal course? So I did, and it was actually pretty interesting and cool. The leader was good too, and open about which bits she believed and which she didn't, and wasn't trying to sell extra stuff - she was genuine about it all.

So then I was going to take Girl to train station to take her home, but jokingly said "Unless you fancy coming to Glastonbury..." And it turned out that she did, so we went down all the wrong roads until we got here. *g* Then the hostel turned out to be full, and so did other non-expensive places, and I was a bit worried about finding her something, but then we came to a place where not only were they vegan (as she is) but the landlady had worked with Native Americans which Girl had said was one of her current interests - so that worked out well!

And now here I am ready to go to bed in my gorgeous four poster bed - my first one ever! And I have the second Joanne Chambers book to read... *g*

Oh, I slept well ! It was soft and cosy and totally, totally lush... As are adventures where-the-wind-blows holidays!
