Day Ninety Seven - Rain and rugs

I think what was making me sleepy yesterday might have been a bug rather than statue-cleaning after all, I felt rubbish today. On the happier side - I feel mostly better now, so I have hopes it'll vanish completely in the next day or two. Landlady had something tummy-ish a few days ago, I expect it's that... *headdesk* But also:

On the bright side - rain! And dramatic skies! Actually really heavy rain for a while too, which is always fun, and a wee rumble of thunder, too.

But my midsummer flowers are still with me... *g*

And when I'd finished work for the day I watched more Arrow (John Barrowman in leather!)... ...and finished that hookrug thingie I started ages ago. It's about cushion-sized, and I'm wondering about doing some other squares to go around it, and make it rug-for-winter-mornings-sized...

My plan for tomorrow is also making me happy - off out, and going for a walk somewhere. I so need some exercise!

Ha - my first question about she-of-whom-we-do-not-speak was, sadly, which one? Then I checked your userpic credits and found out... *g* Actually I thought I did still see her around Pros a bit - and I thought in your lj, commenting now and then, but I must be thinking of someone else's lj then...

I really do wish people weren't such sodding people... far too many of them are...

That would be right. I missed all the original hoo-ha and we remained lj friends until about two years ago, when I asked her to please stop leaving racist comments in my journal. She continued to do so, and I defriended her and stopped following her on twitter. She defriended me but still follows my twitter for some reason *shrug*.

Oh no, I had no idea, I guess I missed those comments... I remember the homophobia suddenly cropping up, years before and the rest of the hoo-ha but.... well just... gods, what is it with people? How do they still think any of that is okay...? *sigh*
