Yesterday's office was completely empty all day long (*waves to Kiashi who came in later*) - everyone must be doing busy summer things... hope they're good ones, anyway! Or maybe no one else liked the poems... *g*

Maybe this'll be nicer for flists... Ooh, and a game! A Pros game! If these pics are all Bodie and Doyle (not LC and MS), then what's going on in them...? *g* CI5-verse or AU, but what do you reckon...? *g*




For instance - in the first two pics, I wonder if Bodie decided to bring Cookie's dog home to Doyle... The next two don't really go together, considering the costumes in Facelift... oh, unless Bodie's part of another touring entertainment group, and their performance is a play from the "old days"! *vbg* And then the bottom two... the lads go undercover together for a change, as actors... *vbg* I bet there are lots of alternative story plots from the pictures though (you can mix and match) - what do you think? Brighten my day?

Ok let me see if I can come up with a suitable story-line around these pictures. In the first pair we have Doyle who is seriously feeling very put out about being left at home alone; while Bodie heads off for the weekend with his new best buddy - Mr Scruffy. As far as Bodie is concerned there isn't that much difference between the two except one is house-trained and does a much better job of keeping his feet warm on cold winter nights...! With the second set of shots; Bodie is off again playing weekend warrior at a reunion of his old unit. Doyle once more feeling abandoned decides to get busy putting on some 'war-paint' of his own and heading out for a night of clubbing. It's 'come as your favourite Rocky Horror character' Friday and after a few lubricating scotches he may have got a little carried away..? With our third and final set of pictures - our boys have made up and are heading off to a fancy dress/housewarming party at Murphy's new flat. Doyle is sporting a bushy beard to help Bodie get over the loss of Mr Scruffy who was confiscated by Cowley; after he caught Bodie addressing him as Ray in the locker room....Kiashi

Okay, I have to admit that I'm a bit worried about Bodie and his dog there! Not much difference between the dog and Doyle - what?! *g* Love the idea of Doyle going Rocky Horror clubbing in desperation though... *vbg* Thank you - that definitely brightened my day! *g*

Ok, sorry for any confusion = just wanting to inject a little humour and silliness into the day. I do like the idea of Bodie perhaps conquering Doyle's home planet and then him ......Kiashi

It is indeed sunny here - it's a lovely day! I wish I worked outside again, on days like these... *sighs from desk*

It's quite a nice pic of LC, isn't it - something about his eyes, I always think... he's missing someone... *vbg*

Drat! I did respond to the poems, but I never actually posted it...

But Row 2 could be Doyle is part of the race inhabiting Planet Xycron, and Bodie comes in as part of the Interstellar Empire, sent to subjugate Doyle's planet. Okay, a bit (A LOT) AU, but work with me here...

And oooh - love the AU! Reminds me a bit of The Cook and the Warehouseman, except different... and hmmn, Bodie's role is to subjugate Doyle Doyle's planet... yes, I'm liking this very much! Except now I want to read the whole thing - or even write it, that would be fun! (I should really finish my own SF-type B/D AU though... *g*)

I visited your office, but was very down, and could not make myself post anything.
Our bunny Hugs died on Tuesday, and even though he had a very long and happy life, it's making all three of us very sad to no longer have him around. Especially M.

Nice pictures of the lads, and I'm enjoying the ideas they spark.
Can't come up with anything myself, yet. Maybe in a few days.

I hope you get a few breaks in the sun today!
Here, they have announced a heat warning for this weekend, with temperatures in the 90s.
Right now, it's grey and gloomy outside, still.

Hmm, the lads must be doing some undercover work in at least some of those photos ... Bodie has had to go under as a suburban lawn-mowing, car-polishing type with a shaggy dog, and Doyle is not impressed ... in fact, clearly they're only happy when they go undercover together, in the last ones! *g*

I love that picture of Skellen. For me, LC is so in the moment in that shot it's untrue.

In images 1 & 2, Doyle has to stay behind to get his new CI5 ID shot done while Bodie goes ahead undercover as Gavin the Surbiton hairdresser (I'm thinking a Good Life cross-over here, for good measure!) Ultimately, B&D move in next door to the Goods and the Leadbetters, but Margot is devastated when Bodie refuses to do her hair once the undercover job has ended.

Pictures 2 & 3 I have nothing even *remotely* as entertaining as what golden_bastet came up with!
