In the rush and joy of 13/20 posts in my flist being Pros, I almost forgot my 365 pic! *g* Bit of an odd one today, because although my theme this week is "Clouds", there wasn't a cloud in the sky all day!

It was also gorgeously cold - the kind of cold when you can smell the ozone (or whatever that really cold smell is)! The ice stayed frozen all day, and it was -6C when I went to bed the night before and when I woke up, so goodness knows if it got any lower in the wee hours of the morning. I think it's all changing tomorrow, though, so I suspect there may be more clouds again!

I feel cold just reading about your temperatures. It does lead to gorgeous photography, though. What time of day was this taken?

We're back up to ordinary temperatures again today - 5C or so. And cloud, and a bit of light rain... Although on my drive up through the hills to Job 3, I did go around a corner and find slush all over the road, as if they'd actually had snow there at some point. It was just one down-in-the-dip spot, and there was no evidence of any actual pretty snow anywhere, just the drive-more-carefully-slush... *g*

The pic above was taken... just before noon, I think? It pretty much stayed like that all day...

Noon surprised me - I had thought, judging by the horse's shadow and the brighter light on the horizon, that it was either early morning or early evening. But I guess the sun doesn't get too high in the sky in winter, that far north of the equator.

This is one of the things I love about the internet; here I am, actually seeing what daylight looks like in winter in a totally different part of the world.
