First two - Dionysus in The Bacchae. A challenge to the costuming department ... to cope with the effusive gratitude of enthusiastic connoisseurs in the audience *g*
Second one of the second row - damn, can't remember the name - he's a millionaire playboy or something? Australian?????? There's a long fic using this character, opposite a "Bodie-clone" sort of character whose name began with K ... ???

He's taken such a huge variety of parts when you look at them overall, even if his more recent ones feel a bit same-y to me... So sad to think that he's our only one still here of our three... And seventy one!

Oh some great shots! I admit my Robert Kingsford love and of course, that nasty but wonderfully played Chauvelin. I admit as much as I love Zax the movie is rather blah. Same with Cassidy. I've tried to watch the series several times since I love Hunted by Devils but I can't make it through! The muscles on MS in those first two are amazing. He didn't lift weights but man, he must have run some miles! :) Thanks!

Totally with you about Facelift and Cassidy, but I like MS's characters, and oh, HG's fic! And Robert Kingsford is fab, and Chauvelin! My second-favourite MS character is still Don De Marco, I think, but Chauvelin is very good... I think he does an excellent villain (and not-really-bad-guy)... *g*

I seem to remember MS did do weights at one point (and there are pics I think, though this was Pros-time), and had one of those boxing thingies too (I know there's a proper name for them, but my brain's gone!). There was something in an interview too about someone like Alec Guinness giving him advice about looking after his body most of all, since that's what he used as an actor, so I'm guessing the Bacchae role suggests he took that seriously!

I didn't remember either - I'm not very hot on celeb birthdays, even our lads - but gvennane and brune_arici both did lovely posts for it, and that reminded me! And it's nice to have a reason to post MS, cos fab as Bodie is, my flist feels a bit flooded with him sometimes, and I do like them both... *g*

Yes, that was Cranford! I just re-watched the series a few weeks ago actually, and fell in love with it again. It's only short - half a dozen episodes, and MS is only in the very last one, but even without him it's worth watching if you can get hold of it!
