Well, I tried to squeeze a Prosfic into the week, but all I have is this WIP - it was supposed to be a short little thing, and it won't be much longer, but it got away from me a bit, and I want to finish it tonight, but my eyes are melting again... Feel free not to read yet, I just wanted to post it cos it was what I had.

I probably should have stuck to watching just one Pros ep instead of being greedy and watching two... *g* But I did watch Cry Wolf:

It's not one of my favourite eps, cos the lads spend so much time apart, and so much of it is focussed on other characters - well, Susan! - but when the lads are together they're a bit gorgeous, and even when they're not together but they're thinking about each other they're a bit gorgeous about it too. Bodie's "The good-looking one"" indignation about Susan's description of Doyle. And Doyle's "Bodie can get in people's hair, can't he?" to Cowley, with a little smile... so fond. *g*

Oh - bed beckons, I'm afraid... And that was the last Pros Everyday For A Week post! It's been so very cool - thank you everyone who posted! So very very nice to see our lads in my flist, and hear people adoring them them! And you know, if anyone feels like extending their challenge a bit... or maybe someone fancies suggesting a new one that we can all get behind! Let's keep the lads-love just a wee bit brighter... *g*

Okay, I know my icon isn't really a picture of the lads curled up sleeping together, but I do like to think that it is... There's something about the lads asleep though, isn't there... *g*

Oh, and something about one of them being woken carefully by the other... ...waking to a hand warm and heavy and safe around their arm, and knowing that even if everything's going wrong it's still alright, because he's there with him. *g*

My bedtime reading these days seems to have fallen into favourite reading, where I keep whatever book I have on the go for daytime sitting up reading, and read something familiar and comfortable and cosy (to me, anyway - I suspect our mileage on that might vary *g*). It doesn't necessarily mean Pros (cos K.J. Charles! Joanna Chambers!) but it does at the moment, and right now I have a zine waiting for me and my hot water bottle, and it's Roses and Lavender 2, from Allamagoosa Press (which I believe is still available from the publisher - at least I've not seen anything that says differently). I've read them before, but one advantage of a sieve-like memory is being able to re-read them again quite often... *g*

Hours of Darkness by Alex T. MacKenzie and Irene - this is the one I'm reading right now, having just picked the zine up yesterday. It starts with the lads in Spy Probe, filling in between various scenes, and Bodie wondering exactly what happened to Doyle when Ferris and Twig sussed him...

Edge of the Sky by Blackbird - don't remember this one, though I feel a vague unease about it for some reason... we'll see!

Night on the Town by Elizabeth Holden - I like this author (fajrdrako), so looking forward to this one again.

Keeper by Irene - recommended to me many years ago by now-Istia, and she was absolutely right, it's one of my favourites... (just as she was about Larton *g*)

No Limit Stakes by PFL - don't remember this one either!

Between Dreams We Lie Awake - I remember this as not an easy read, but in a good way.

Local Time by Irene - Irene is one of my favourite Pros authors in general, so I'm looking forward to being reminded of this one too. She's one of those mysterious Pros authors that other people say does exist, but is very off-internet... *g* I remember thinking at one point that she was from the UK, just because of certain things in her writing, but I think now probably not - mostly for the same reasons. But who knows, and it's pure curiousity, cos whoever she is, she writes fab lads. *g*

So what about you - are you reading Pros right now? Wotcha re-ead-ing?

It's been a weird day all round, and yet for no particular reason, one of those ones that just aren't right even though nothing's gone wrong and some things have gone right (taxes all done, bar the paying - hurrah!) - but I've come home tonight to find my flist flooded with our lads, and that makes me very happy indeed! Thank you so much! And here's a few more... *g*

One of my favourite things about Pros, is all the ways they touch... Bodie's hand on Doyle's arm in that first pic, and even when it's all gone wrong in the second one...

Arms around each other, because it's just having a laugh... ...just mates in front of a camera.
