366 Photos - 24/366 - End of Day

Blimey, today! I was supposed to be working (on an extra job), but I may have let myself be distracted. Not just into lj-things, but I was good and paid my taxes today (I was waiting for their idea of the amount to show up on the webpage, to confirm it matched my idea. It was a few pence less. *g*). It's actually a relatively painless process (well, except for the money going from my bank to their bank), so that's good! Lots of catching up lj-things too - though not people's posts today, yet, or my replies! I will though, promise. But I finally finished my books1001 book (assigned over a year ago - eep), and posted about that, and sorted out my sticky post so I can find stuff, aaaand... oh, a bit of tidying up my actual house, too. A bit more blimey just as I was about to start work at last, so I went for a double-hacktrack swim walk, and it was just at sunset! And here you go. *g*

If I can get a couple of hours of this work done, watch War and Peace, cook one of my favourite veggie dinners, and write something for my Pros Discovered on a Bingo Card, then I'll be happy! Wish me luck... *g*

What a neat pic, the cloud layers are awesome! *g* Yay to having the taxes done, boo to having to actually PAY them. Grrr. We are not swimming here today, for once; in fact it is brilliantly sunny and the snow is melting. Not too warm, though...

It was taken with my telephoto... which is why it's not properly sharp, too (must get a tripod!). But it did work out pretty well, thank you! *g*

Those colours are striking - at first I thought they were so vivid because of f.lux running but I disabled it temporarily and the colours are still gorgeous.

There are some pretty sunsets around here! This one wasn't even that spectacular overall, but my telephoto lens picked up some nice shades of it... *g*
