366 Photos - 64/366 - I can haz snow!

Okay, as snow goes it barely counts, I know, but I suspect it's all I'm going to see this year, so - yeay! I'd just opened the curtains when something wee and white caught my eye, falling - a feather, or bird-poo, or...? Whatever it was had vanished, and I was about to close the door when the same thing happened again - and I realised that there were tiny, light flakes of snow falling. Hurrah, I thought, and watched for a moment, but there was still blue sky and sunshine up there, so I didn't expect anything else. And then I looked up from my desk just a bit later and it was properly swirling down, and getting heavier, and it was actual proper snow! Wet snow, but snow!

Well, that cheered me up for starting the day! And now the sun's out again and rather blazing down, and everything's dripping. *g*
Anyone else got snow? Cheerfulness? Lads? Cheerful lad in the snow...? *g*

we have snow in Wigan ...well we have had snow since 5.30 this morning but as i speak it is gradually turning to rain .

Um... lovely? It's been sort of half-arsedly snowing all day here, on and off. So far it hasn't stuck, thank goodness, because I am supposed to be going out for dinner back into 'my' village, which is deep in the countryside, with only one road in and out, both of which are very hilly. We used to get snowed in regularly for a couple of days every winter, on only a few inches of snow *g*

But I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad you nipped out and took a few photos - nice bricks and fence pic :)

Lol - it's okay, I get that not everyone likes snow... *g* And you're likely to have more of it where you are than I will down here, so... drive safely out tonight though - snow or no snow. I remember your hills... (I quite miss your hills - they was lovely).

Oh, pretty! You got more than us, but we had a magnificent hail storm this morning, which turned to sleety snow. And now - blue sky and a bit too hot, to be honest. No wonder anyone living in the UK becomes obsessed with the weather.

A bit too hot?! Are you in the same country as me right now? You've shifted to Egypt, haven't you... Even when it was blue-skyed here, I'd not say too hot, and that's from someone who doesn't much care for hot! I've had the heating on loads today... I should move to sunny Dorset!

Oh, it *is* snow! Definitely better than nothing at all!

We've only had a dusting and some ice rain this winter and that was early on.
Nothing since then, and while they are forecasting a big storm for tomorrow here, it's going to be wind and rain, and snow only higher up.
We were going to take the MG on a test drive to the coast, but they are warning to stay away, and that driving could be treacherous, with strong gusts of wind. So, we are staying put.

Snow?! What happened to spring poking its head around the corner?

Sunny and warm here with a forecast top of 31 degrees. I have the V8 supercars on the telly and it's 38 degrees trackside in Adelaide today. Still, the evenings have been cooling down nicly, and it even felt a bit chilly when I was out saying goodbye to my son at 2.30am this morning. Autumn is not far off.
