Now that I think about it, I'm not sure whether this has been there for a while, and I just unticked it when it first came along, without bothering to explore, and now it's expanded to catch people's attention when they post, or whether it really is a new feature now. Either way - huh! It's a Related Posts feature, which shows you either 3, 6 or 9 related posts (the most recent posts by default, but you can set it to tags, which is quite useful) at the bottom of the current post. I couldn't see it working with my lj in either preview or on my friends list page, but when I go into the actual post, there it is!

This is the bit that I see now, when it comes to posting, and the first pic is (obviously) the results if you choose three pics. I can see it being useful when you're exploring lj, and maybe to remember the last post that you tagged with a certain tag... for keeping track of things a bit, maybe.

Oh, and it works in retrospect too - I could go back and use it on my last Once Upon a Time Challenge post. Ve-e-ry interesting...

Hmmn - what do you think? Has anyone been using it? D'you think you will?

I've not seen number (?) 9 before - hugging in white - but the Related Posts thing has been there ever since I've had Lj. I don't use it - I'm not a prolific poster - I mostly lurk and comment.

Yes, when I think about it, I'm pretty sure I've seen the heading there before. It doesn't usually pop up ready to go though, so they must have done something to it!

Yeah, they must be having a push for it or something - or maybe they changed something else, and that made it expand again on my posting window, so that I noticed it. That's okay, I have more time to think about how useful it might be this way! *g* I wish supermarkets would do that sort of thing - move the toothpaste gradually to a different aisle, so that you had time to get used to the idea, and whether it was a good one or not... *g*

Yeah, that's pretty much what I must have thought when I saw it - I'm reading this! But just in my own lj it's kind of nice to have extra pictures pop up via tag, so I think I might like it.... *g*

Well mine definitely popped up as suddenly a thing, whereas I'd had it default-checked to unticked (which also meant it was unexpanded, which is why I didn't take much notice). I guess their marketing ploy for the feature worked on me this time though, cos I paid attention and I've decided I quite like it for now! *g*
