Today's sunset - for George Michael and Liz Smith yesterday, and for Richard Adams and Carrie Fisher today. There's only four days to go, and 2016 continues to leave me gobsmacked and sad... I know there have been some good things too (because in a whole year there must be some, somewhere), but....

I like to think that the beautiful colours are a way to say we aren't beaten by 2016 - but we are certainly bowed. I just hope 2017 doesn't continue in the same vein. :((

I drove to San Francisco at sunset on Tuesday and so wanted to stop the car in the middle of the Golden Gate bridge and just admire the sun sinking into the ocean and the fiery sky above. It was truly stunning--so thank you for your sunset picture!

Oh, I remember some beautiful sunsets around SF and Marin - such a gorgeous place to live. I miss the ocean too - I'm too far away from the sea! I'm glad you liked the pic, and it helped you remember your own sunset - that's the nice thing about sharing on lj, I think! *g*
