Photo-a-Day 2nd September - Sunday

Breakfast out again today (even though it was eaten around lunchtime!), and just around the corner as we headed back was this mural, which I rather like.

In the garden next door to my sister's there was this flower... ...and in my brother's driveway, this gumtree still has a few blossoms.

The flowers are great. And yes, I had a very nice Sunday. We went to a farmers and craftman's market and I found this nice pieces of work.

I like the mural, too, and the beautiful flowers!
We have Labor day weekend (Monday off) and are thinking of heading
to the beach. Great weather, sunny and warm, but not sweltering.

The mural is great - I love that there's so much public/street art around Melbourne.

It sounds like you should definitely head for the beach - sounds perfect for it! I do hope there'll be pictures if you do... *g*

It's a very slow gif I made a long time ago. Took me forever to get it small enough for LJ rules!

We didn't get to go to the beach after all, but at least managed a walk in the park.

Beautiful flowers! (what kind is that amazing yellowpurplered thing with all the sharp bits?) Sunday here was really sunny, which was lovely - but we might be coming towards the end of the proper sunshine we see for a while ... :-s hmm, must be Monday morning for you now - isn't it odd to live on a globe *g*

And hee - it is odd to live on a globe... though I suspect it would be odd to live on a turtle too, and on most things... *g* I'm sorry I'm going to miss autumn though - I shall hope that it lingers a bit into November for selfish reasons... and it's often a bit sunny, even if it's less warm, right? *g*

The flowers are fab, aren't they! There's lots of spring around here, but then something like this appears that I would have thought of as summer, and just... there it is!

I don't feel like I've quite got the hang of my Australian wanderings yet, mostly because I've not really done any since I got to Melbourne! I had to swap my hire car today, and so I nipped to a library to work afterwards, and it was right by a park, in a more wooded part of town, and I realised that I just don't feel right being in a city, in Australia, for all the many good qualities that I appreciate in Melbourne! Right now I could be in any city in the world, I think - I need to give family the slip and go and do something cool, I think! *g*

Lovely bird of paradise and I really like the mural. More places seem to have them now and it's always neat to turn a corner and come across one.
