Oh Australia - it's the 19th of September! The 19th! Of September! I enjoy a good run up to Christmas as much as anyone, but what are you thinking?!

At least we have Halloween and Thanksgiving which tends to blunt the Christmas mania, at least for a little while. I'm sure my next month they'll have switched over.

That's what I usually think - and we have Guy Fawkes in November to keep Christmas at bay a bit longer, but this isn't even the right quarter of the year! I've gotten to not mind it in November even - keeping the winter at bay as it gets colder and wetter isn't a bad thing - but September?!!!
