Went for a winter's walk around the village today, to see what I could see - and what was this ghosty thing in the tree above the river across from the cemetery (can you see her in the first pic, all curled up and grumpy at being spotted?)...? Surprise ghosty-grey cat!

Yes, it's back to the village I was almost-in when I had my Annexe - only just over a year ago!

I was so surprised to see the cat - she sort of appeared in the tree, just like the Cheshire Cat! *g*

She sort of appeared in the tree, just like the Cheshire Cat! *g* There's lots of slightly tangly places like that around here - and that one's actually on the corner of the road through the village!

What an unassailable spot cat has picked for a watchful pause :-) These are great photos (especially the first one, imagine a huge blow-up print of that on a wall - you just see scenery for a moment, but then you see the cat watching you. brrr :-))))).

The cat almost looks unreal, doesn't she - so sharply pale against the tangle of blurry-coloured twigs and branches! I love the idea of a giant print of it! *g*

Sweetie cat! (Which, admittedly, I'm more inclined to say these days when I actually have my own cat. *g*) She is gorgeous, though! As are the photos--they remind me very much of December in England (unsurprising, I know, but true! *g*)
