Most definitely the saddest fic I have read since I started this: Never Say Goodbye by Castalia, just posted by Proslib. Its on Circuit too. Beautifully, beautifully written. And there are alot of heart-wrenching fics out there - see recent Safehouse, for example!

*pause to Circuit*

Well, thank goodness for Night Talk also by Castalia, also on Circuit. Feel much better now.

Pretty poor rec I know, but I must go and read some more... I'm convalescing, ya understand... ; )

Hope you are starting to feel better

Thanks! I have staggered into work today, although am clearly not doing any yet... although the smell of boiling critter in the lab doesn't help!

Floating around somewhere in Alaskan cyberspace corrupting some poor Inuit

Thanks for trying to send the story. If I see anyone looking all dazed and talking in an english accent (apart from me, obviously) I'll head them off... I have responded to your other comment, if you want to try alternate means...!

Even more impressed if Castalia is not English herself. Especially with the mangle we make of the language ourselves sometimes - yes, yes, me very definitely included! Although, maybe after all that's half the fun of language. B and D wouldn't be half so adorable and all if they kept all their aitches in place...

Still can't quite see the connection between an Australian/Brit being in Alaska

Hah! Not sure there really is one, in anything but the most obscure kind of way... But me Mum was Manx, me Dad South African, and I always always wanted to see the northern lights : )
