Oh dear. I was luckier - I'm Raiders of the Lost Ark. So I guess you can be the damsel in distress and I can save you (after I found all the hidden treasures that is) *snicker*

You're assuming I'm not Heathcliff, whose native cunning and bitter temperament enables me to expose you as the grave-robber you are, and see you languishing in prison while I take over the treasure, your position at the university, and whichever screaming sidekick annoys me least. *g*
Yeah, but I don't need to confront you and your whip, I just mention your name in the right places, the right ears, and let the long arm of the law do my work for me. If nothing else you'll be a fugitive from the law whenever you set foot in Great Britain. As for the lost ark, you're going to dig it out of that warehouse and bring it all the way up to Yorkshire in the hope that I'll be daft enough to stick me head in it?
Laws can be bent as we all know. And who says that it is the real ark in that warehouse? Grave robber - remember? And if I pack it nice enough as a gift you might open it, wouldn't you?
Btw, I would have preferred being The Army of Darkness but I guess that one doesn't count as a classic movie, does it?
And if I pack it nice enough as a gift you might open it, wouldn't you?
Er... nope! That Heathcliff bloke was cunning and twisty... *g* Just cos something looks like romantic drama, doesn't mean it doesn't have half a brain... look at our lads!
The Army of Darkness but I guess that one doesn't count as a classic movie, does it? Hee! Cult maybe, classic no... *g*
I got Mr.Smith Goes to Washington....hah hah....which translates as 'you are boring and very reliable'.
If I could choose a film I think it would have been something heroic like Gary Cooper's role in High Noon or Stanley Baker's in Zulu....I *told* you I was an engineer.......I only came to build a bridge
Ooh, that must have been in your own post somewhere then, right? Cos otherwise it's not possible... don't think I'll be able to repost it exactly, but if you give me a clue where it is and what it was about, I might be able to do summat!
Oh dears! I envy you romantic adventurous girls... watch out: I ended up as The Godfather ! Sitting in the background and making the rules with the help of - no, no fancy whip for me, but - a gun... My english is not good enough: is there a female equivalent like a Godmother???
Lol - I guess The Godfather has its own romance and adventure!
Hmmn - a female equivalent of The Godfather... Well godmother makes me think of fairy godmothers, like the one in Cinderella that helps Cinders get to the ball, so maybe not that... *g* I guess the Godfather is a patriarch, and so a female equivalent would be a matriarch - and in Italy often is, so I hear! Then again - isn't it women who are really in control in most families..? *g*

do you think I could stand this carnage more than once? I told you I came to build a bridge
I've always thought there was great slash potential between the characters of Bromhead and Chad in that film. And sorry, I digress......
