Oh that were good, weren't it!

So... what did you think?!

I thought it was fabulously intrigue-y and think-y - and I do like shows like that... It makes me want to go and find out more than the little I know about the Pope during WWII, but more especially afterwards - did that really happen to his body after death? I bet it must have if they put it in the show, which is just fascinating...

And... oh, I don't know where to begin talking without spoilering, so....

What did you think?!!!

I'm enjoying it so much more than I expected to, because this is not my favourite genre but I can fully see now why, when the Beeb saw these two, they put it on hold and commissioned the rest of the series. Just imagine how we'd all be wailing now if it ended there, there is so clearly much more to come.
And there was one sequence tonight where Father Jacob ran along a corridor and it was a pure 'essence of Doyle' run! Gosh, he is wearing well!!!
Brilliant stuff!

Oh I am glad! And yes - I'd forgotten about it being just a one-off at first! Imagine after that look and there was nothing more!

He really is wearing well isn't he... *hugs father Jacob* (Oh, and speaking of which, couldn't you just feel him hugging his mentor that time too? And then, just... ohhhhh...

And he slurped his tea! I forgot about it, but I did happy squee then too! (which would be less so if he was behind me in a cafe, but he's not, so...*g*)
