Oh my - just found these over at YouTube... And he mentions Pros, and he sounds perfectly happy about it, and this was from 1984! He's got the Scott of the Antarctic haircut, but on the bright side - he's wearing bike leathers... *g*

Part Two (and near the end he talks about trailbike riding in Wild Justice!):

Part Three:

Thank you Greenheart45 for posting them! *g*

Oh, thanks for posting these (and thanks to Greeheart45). He's so nice and unaffected, isn't he? And how refreshing to come across someone who actually considers a subject and thinks things through, rather than coming out with loads of old cliches and what they think people want to hear. I get the impression he's got time for people and things (that's so rare these days) and that he'd be happy to talk to anyone if they shared a genuine interest with him and weren't trying to chat him up because of who he was.

Yes, I think I like him more and more....

Yes! I know what you mean - he comes across as a very genuine, thoughtful bloke, and also a very normal one. I like that he doesn't try to show off on his bike here (well, I know it's a safety video!) - I mean he could, he could be all macho and Doyle about it, but he doesn't at all. He says he wasn't keen on the sand biking, cos he felt out of control, and admits he'd never done trail biking until Wild Justice and... And yes! for people who think about things and say what they mean instead of stupid soundbites that no one believes in anyway! I love it when it turns out that actors whose work I like seem to be decent people as well - people you'd pass a comment to at a bus stop, sort of people... *g*

well spotted that woman! I had no idea this was on Youtube either. He comes over as a really nice bloke in this, you're right. And bike mad too!

and shallow moment here - he rolled his sleeves first chance he got! *sigh*

I was a little surprised that he didn't make a better fist of the skid - I thought MS and LC got special tuition in things like handbrake turns and skids when they did Pros. OTOH, that was - what, seven years before this, so I suppose I can forgive him!

Ooh, just found that I didn't reply to this - sorry!

Yes - fab vid, innit! The rolling sleeves thing is totally an MS thing... *g*

I didn't get up to actually watching the skid - must come back and rewatch it all properly! But yeah, seven years is a long time if you're not doing something regularly... and from the track marks on some of the roads in Pros, I reckon there were a few takes, even back then... *g*

ETA - wait, hang on! Seven years? If these were made in 1984, then it's only three years since he hung up his holster from Pros... *g*
