Belated Album Cover Meme!

byslantedlightNicked from everyone who did this last week - I did it on Friday too, cos fun meme, but I didn't get a chance to post that day, and of course since I'd done it at work... in my break, obviously. Like now. *g*
1 - Go to a random wikipedia article — The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to "Random quotations" — The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to Flickr's "explore the last seven days" — Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop, MS Paint, or similar to put it all together.
5 - Post it with this text.
So... does anyone out there use GIMP instead of Photoshop or whatever? I've just found out that it's a free downloadable thingie, and thought I might - has anyone tried it? What d'you reckon to it? It's on all the computers here at work, and I used it for this, and it seems quite good...

Date: Tuesday, 3 March 2009 08:09 am (UTC)Free is often good, but as I was saying to someone above, I'm having to use Open Office at the moment, and while I'm ever so glad that I've got some WP package, I wish it was a little... clearer to use! Less glitchy... *g*
