... cos I haven't spammed you enough, lately... *g*
Turns out I actually took a picture of a blue moon on New Year's eve - I was paying no attention at all, but this is the second full moon in December, which only happens about once every two and a half years - huh! Thank you [livejournal.com profile] snailbones for reminding me to check out the Astronomy Pic of the Day.

Speaking of which - Planetary Systems Now Forming in Orion!
Baby us-es!

In other news - why can't I write today?! I mean, I am, and I've done 2000 words, but I need to do at least a thousand more today, and my writey-brain is all reluctant... It just wants to do other things (although I don't know what, exactly... Is there even anything good on telly, tonight?) I'm all disturbed by what was actually a rather daft dream last night, to do with a bank that wouldn't give me change without me proving who I was with my passport, or something... It wasn't even my bank! But there was one of those intense, worried atmospheres to it, you know? *shudders* And today I'm all restless, and I should probably have gone for a walk or something, but instead I stayed in my pyjamas until late and tried to write. *sighs* Maybe I'll watch Lady in the Water and try to spook myself out of it - although I have a strange feeling that might just make things worse... *headdesk* Stoopid day. And I want it to be much, much nicer to my friends, too! Stoopid day.

Heee! I'm a bit obsessive about looking at my camera I must say, but I had no idea it was a blue moon until I was told! *g*

Isn't writing stoopid - when you can't do it, when you're in the shower, when it's absolutely impossible to write cos you're driving or on the edge of sleep - then the words come... Stoopid words... I can't believe that I was actually reduced to watching a dance competition on telly. So not me... but I did. *sighs* It was either that, or darts, or football or Ben Stiller. God 'elp us who don't 'ave freeview...

DVDs. They are a blessing to those in despair of the television schedule. Especially shiny new DVDs that came for Christmas and that someone else, therefore, paid for. *G*

Oh I know - and I'm usually queen of dvd-watching over telly-watching, and have a few that I've got to watch, though they're all movies now... I clearly should have put an order in for some tv series on dvd, shouldn't I! Actually, I've still got Rome that I can watch on my lappie, come to think of it... though I got stuck in SPN on Wendigo, and havent' got back to that yet...

Telly tomorrow though - MS in Poirot, Three Act Tragedy! Yeay!

Just found this comment still in my inbox and realised I never did reply to it, although I meant to...

I'm not a big Poirot fan, so gave it a miss, even MS not enough to draw me in - but I was very sad that he didn't reprise his role as Peter in Cranford for the two-part Christmas special!

You should indeed finish Rome, for sure. Fabulous show. ♥ Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo! Mark Antony! Woot!

Supernatural isn't for everyone - I think you either hook into the brothers' relationship or you don't, and so much of the show hinges on that relationship that if it doesn't hook you, you'll probably struggle. Me, I love the characters, enough that I can forgive occasional patchiness (which every show has, after all), but I know that it isn't for everyone. And Wendigo certainly isn't a favourite episode for many people, although personally I love it (has that fab fireside scene between the brothers, plus a side helping of hurt Dean, what's not to love?) We all have our individual preferences, after all. :)
