Phew, busy day - back to this place again, before dashing home to finish an annoyingly fiddly Job 1 document which took longer than it should have done yesterday... Hmmn - that's really only two things, so it shouldn't have felt busy really, should it! But somehow it did. After my long being-poorly, you know... *vbg* Actually, I did do two jobs at NT-place this morning, a volunteering one and a completely separate Job 3 paid one, so perhaps that counts as three things. Plus I woke up at 6.30am, which was good for getting to NT-place, but I tend to be a night owl, so - long day! *g*

How're you...? *g*

I think it sounds very busy!
Especially when things take longer than one thought. Wonderful pics again, it is so much more interesting to look at them, when I know the places. Or was there before and try to figure out if I've seen that part in real....

We had sunshine Yesterday!
And I sewed and sewed and got pretty far, but I should, because I want it to be ready for my nephews baptism on sunday and there are so many other things to plan and do, too, because the whole family will be here on monday.... *waaaahhh*

Oh, well done. I forgot to mention how lovely the pictures looked!

Yea for sunshine (in all it's incarnations) and best wishes for your nephew's Easter baptism. I sewed myself silly when my sister got married - so you have all my positive vibes :0)

I'll take that as a mentioning - thank you! *g*

I guess it was busy from the pov that I'd not done it for ages! And yeay for knowing places - it does make photos more interesting, doesn't it. *g*

Yeay for sunshine and sewing too - I'm guessing it's something for your nephew's baptism. *g* Have a fab time!

How're you...?

Mostly wistful that a) I don't have the asking price for Bodie's capri and b) I don't suppose I know the person who does - 'cos it would be brilliant to cadge a lift into work in it.

Or drive it...

Although I can't claim to have ever been compared to Bodie as a driver - it's commonly Stirling Moss. Which given that my vehicles are usually lawnmowers masquerading as modes of transport ('roller skate' has been appended to my current beloved rust magnet), I think that's a trifle unwarranted :0)

Blimey, only 77k on the clock after all these years? I must admit I'd be going hmmmn... *g* I hear that Capris were pigs to drive in real life, though!

My closest Pros-car-connection is that I currently drive a Nissan Almera... *g*

I'd heard about it, but I'd never actually seen that ad - what a hoot!

All Fords are a little iffy on corners - I had two Fiestas - I made a friend of understeer :0)

I currently drive a Nissan too - but it's a bubble shaped Micra (hence 'roller skate') - and I defy even Bodie to jump that bonnet :0) After ten years it's got over 90,000 on the clock, mostly clocked up on motorways. I used to commute 500 miles a week, but I work closer to home now and take the bus.

I'm a lover of small cars which double as minivans - although I'll drive anything that's thrown at me. I used to drive a lot of hire cars for work and never knew what I was getting until I got out of the front door in the morning.

I'm thinking about a new car, but £45,000 plus on an old Ford, no matter how wonderful, is not a viable option. Neither, sadly, is a new Micra since they've gone all peculiar. I can't afford a new car at the minute - I live in hope that by the time I can, Nissan will have come to their senses.

The Fiesta is now the size the old Focus used to be, and too big for my tastes.

I can only assume, by condition and mileage, that at some point the Capri was mothballed for preservation. Which in one sense is wonderful, but in another is sad. Capris were made to be driven.

And I'd still really love a go...

I've had a few Fiestas, and quite liked the way they handled. Good cars - except that they do seem to have grown rather. Most cars seem to have, and for the life of me I can't work out why - it makes absolutely no sense on UK roads to be driving anything bigger than you need to! And I despair over the new "minis" - they're bigger than my Almera, which to me is bigger than it needs to be! It's been a while now since I've driven anything different, but I agree, it's fun driving what's thrown at you! I've never had a new car (unless you count hire cars!), and I don't suppose I ever will, mostly cos I'll always be swayed by the pre-depreciated choices, money-wise!

My guess is that Capri's gone round once already, unless it really was very purposefully stored for investment!

I love the pictures, especially the one of the field. It just looks so peaceful.

And glad to hear that you're back on your feet. :-)

It is nice and peaceful, isn't it. What caught my attention at the time was the shadows of the branches, all lovely and swoopy... *g*

And thanks! If only I hadn't fallen off my feet on the steps today - ouch!
