...even if the boiler did go out again, for no apparent reason! (Hmmn, 3 cursed steps, 2 dead birds, 1 recalcitrant boiler... perhaps this particular run of luck might be finished now? *g*) My ankle is mostly better, and my knee is feeling better too, though still a bit hot - I might even brave it to drive on tomorrow, presuming we're not stormed out of existence. It's been so nice today!

Oh no, there was one more thing - I forgot. I don't think it's quite bad enough to count in the Run of Unlucky Things, but - here are the scented candles that I had to light toot-sweet when I realised that I'd left my back door wide open - on the day that the farmer was slurrying the closest field.... *headdesk*

We've had a few days of the slurrying by now - chappy seems to have alot of fields around us! - and I thought I'd shut the door when I came in, cos I always do - but actually I forgot it was landlord who came in that way last, for the boiler, and then I didn't go back down, and just though it was getting cooler and that the slurry must be really potent to be penetrating my closed windows... *headdesk* Oh well, hey-ho!

My knee is still pretty crunchy - and actually I should have done more ice this evening, cos it's a bit more sore again tonight... then again I tend to rush back-to-normal when I'm close, so it might just be that, I've been standing on it again today, and walking a bit more...

Electrocution's a good idea - except that there's not anything for them to have been electrocuted on, where they were! Not a single wire outside my building... invisible force-field, maybe... *g* And ha - yes, it is rather Jonathan Creek!
