...a Pros pic or article posted or drabble written (your choice which) for anyone who'll tell me their opinion/thoughts/feelings about Windows 10 compared to Windows 7!

As soon as I decide one way, I change my mind and decide the other way instead.

Who's used Windows 10? Do you like it better or worse than Windows 7? Has it slowed your computer/laptop down? Sped it up? Neither, but you like it anyway? Neither but you hate it anyway?

I know some of you have found yourselves with Windows 10 unexpectedly - now that you've used it for a while, what d'you think?

Please tell meeeeeee!

My kidlet says 10 is okay but it's a new machine with it pre-installed. I've heard stories of other folks having problems upgrading, using their already-installed programs and files (mp3s, video) being deleted because 10 thinks they're pirated files. It also will not let you "not" do auto updates unless you click that you are on a metered system and will do them yourself. I've heard about problems with auto updates but for Windows that's always been a concern.

I have one Windows laptop with 8.1 on it but honestly, if I use that at all, it's just for vidding. Otherwise I don't use a Windows machine. It will also collect data from your laptop and take it to some big underground cyberspace facility so they can blackmail you in the future. LOL! (Hey, that's not far from the truth!)

I'm not bothered about it being the new OS when I have to get a new laptop next time, and I'm not worried about auto updates, cos if there are problems they fix them fast, and I'm pretty sure that the Other Type of Computer has auto updates too, it's just that you never hear about them. *g* And they all collect data and take it to the Blackmail Facility, but again, you just don't hear about it on the Other Type of Computer. *g* Don't like the sound of things being deleted though - which is why I don't have a Kindle! And I don't have the Other Type of Computer cos I don't like being corralled into Only One Type, so I don't like idea that MS is heading that way...

If I'd had Win8 I wouldn't have thought twice about upgrading, but I like Win7... hmmn, and hmmn!

If you mean Mac, Apple is very proprietary also. I have Linux on my laptop.

Lol, I did mean Mac - I'm not techie enough to run Linux, though I appreciate it's existence!
