No, it really was a treasure hunt. I've subscribed to the British Newspaper Archive for a couple of years now, but I've always thought of it as a historical resource, because I'm mostly looking at 19th century papers when I use it. It suddenly occurred to me that it did go up to the 1970s and 1980s, and that if I did a search or two... And I was right! *g*

The date for that one is in the top right corner. I found mention of it in Martin's Place years ago, but hurrah for a pic and review! There should be more from my fab find to come!

Oh, these are wonderful. You find the best kind of treasure. And I know this sounds silly, but I love the idea that articles about are lads are in the archive permanently and that there will always be that record.
