Pics on the move at last - a brief escape from family... I can hear kookaburras now and then, and a few other birds. This is Sugarloaf Reservoir, which helps keep Melbourne in water...

Oh, and I just looked across the road - those dots are kangaroos... *g*

Hee - yeah, they do wander about in that area, which is cool. But they don't wander everywhere, so it's still nice to see them - we've made it hard for them to be at home in lots of places... I hardly ever saw them when I grew up here, whether because we were just in the wrong area for them in general, or because they'd been chased away long ago... so it's always cool to turn around and see them now! I have a cool photo of an emu and baby emus to post one of these days too... *vbg*

And yes! Isn't it fab to be able to wave from the other side of the planet, and for someone to see you almost instantly!

ETA - oh, and yeah... family stressfulness, from all directions in different ways! But then I had a lovely day with my brother and nephew especially, yesterday, so that helped!
