(Maybe bribery will help)

...a Pros pic or article posted or drabble written (your choice which) for anyone who'll tell me their opinion/thoughts/feelings about Windows 10 compared to Windows 7!

As soon as I decide one way, I change my mind and decide the other way instead.

Who's used Windows 10? Do you like it better or worse than Windows 7? Has it slowed your computer/laptop down? Sped it up? Neither, but you like it anyway? Neither but you hate it anyway?

I know some of you have found yourselves with Windows 10 unexpectedly - now that you've used it for a while, what d'you think?

Please tell meeeeeee!

And.... Mr. Maus likes it, too. His laptop was the one we switched from XP to 8.
Now he's got a new one with 10 and is so much more relaxed about everything, because everything is where it was before 8 and not hidden in some folds and behind drapes.

His laptop is not the newest either, we got it from my brother, but it worked fine from the start.

I think if I'd had Win8 I wouldn't have thought twice about changing, I'd've just done it - but actually what you say is why I'm havering - because I'm not sure Win10 is different-good enough to make it worth losing Win7 where I know and like where everything is... I'm kind of curious about the Cortana thing, cos it might crossover nicely with my phone to remind me about things, but otherwise I'm less keen on the idea of things like not being able to hide the Cloud, and my computer being controlled by the system rather than by me (although on the other hand, the system likely knows much more about most things than me! *g*)

So... oh, still not sure, now! *g* If you'd still had 7, would you have switched? *g*

Forgot your lads! Sorry!

I'd switch again.
It's almost no difference, and I hope to keep my laptop for another five years, and I rather fear the thing they did with XP, where the support just expired.

On the other hand, them knowing so much is quite concerning.

I've never seen this article before, and I'm sorry to say, but I don't much care for the things it says.
I'll translate it tomorrow.

Oh no - it never occurred to me that it wouldn't be saying nice things about our lads! I'm sorry! (But yes, please do translate if you get a minute...!) And in the meantime, I'm sure I must have something to take the bad taste out of your mouth... in fact you'd better have two. *g*

I'd worry about support expiring too - I think Win7 has got until 2020 - but I suspect I'll need a new laptop before then, because my lovely one is definitely more than three years old, and my previous laptops have all expired shortly after that... though I don't want this one to! I like it's lovely big Scrabble-keys, and the way my wrists rest on it, and... and... *crosses fingers*
