In the spirit of posting a bit more often, I shall inundate you with photos of the weekend... *g* I got to London on Saturday, where the tube line I needed had closed, so I was a wee bit late getting to my hotel, where [livejournal.com profile] heliophile_oxon was patiently waiting. We had a wander and a sandwich and much chat, and it didn't matter at all that it was raining a bit, because yeay, Pros-friends-chat! So that was an excellent start to the weekend. *g*

I'd been "upgraded" to a room with a four-poster bed, which looked rather cool...

...and would have been even cooler if the room wasn't above the boiler room from which there was a constant loud whining overnight. Still, I think it's the first four-poster bed I've slept in! *g*

I had to work on Sunday of course, from the ridiculous hour of registration-at-8am. We got there for half-eight, but even so we were way too early for the hotel breakfast. With a work commute like this though, I didn't mind too much.

And this was part of my commute "home" from work that day...

Bizarrely enough I've not been to see this yet - it's just been bad timing to even think about it, and I must admit that it's not a role or play I'm dying to see. I would like to see it, but... well, I'll have to work it out.

Stopped for a drink after work with Colleague, which was just so nice and civilised - you don't get to do that much when you're proofreading (in which case it's just drinking alone at home, not at all the same!) or nannying (where it's rather frowned upon...!) We picked a random pub - oh, it was The Princess of Wales! - and I realised that this was above C's head.

So a bit of added romance and swashbuckling!

After which I collected my luggage and took myself off to meet [livejournal.com profile] kiwisue, who's putting me up for a couple of nights. There was dinner and chat and especially chat about Point of Sighs (*happy happy sigh*) and more Pros-friends-chat.

And now I'm looking forward to meeting more Pros-chaps at a Pros location around lunchtime - including a surprise addition to the group, as arranged by KWS. Plus the sun is out. Yeay!
